DIY Bug Out Stove – Infographic

There are lots of great little stoves for backpacking or putting in your bug out bag but there aren’t many that will be less expensive than this DIY Bug Out Stove that you can learn how to make with this infographic.  The only potential drawback to these stoves after you add a pot holder (they used nails but I like using coat hanger wire) is the liquid fuel but this is still a great, almost free alternative to the Esbit Pocket Stove.

    HUH?
Infographic not at all helpful. Use inches instead of cm. Wrap what cut edge with what? And so on and so on… BTW, those are pop rivets, not nails!!

Thanks for the correction on the pop rivets…they’re too rickety in any case…use a wire coat hanger bent to accept the pot and evenly distribute the weight over 3 or more legs for more stability. I’ll see if I can get a video of these being constructed next month when my buddy MG is in town…his are even better looking than those in the infographic.
