Digital pressure points can often be used to slow or stop bleeding.  Apply pressure with fingers, thumbs or hands as indicated in the figure below:

  1. I can just see me trying to find the exact place to press when blood is spurting everywhere; let’s hope I never have to do it or the other person may be really hosed!
